This article is for Partners who need to compare the current Benefit Stored Fixed Rates method and the upcoming Benefit Calculated Fixed Rates method and find where to view each rate component in isolved. It explains what each method shows and where to locate the related settings.
How to view benefit rate components
Stored fixed rates (current method)
To view the monthly premium and rate factor:
Navigate to System Management > System Benefits > PEO Benefits > System Benefit Plans.
Click the Rates tab to view the Monthly Premium and Rate Factor.
Important: Stored Fixed Rates are the current method and will be removed after you transition to the new functionality.
Calculated fixed rates (new method)
To view the base premium and plan expense:
Navigate to System Management > System Benefits > PEO Benefits > System Benefit Plans.
Select Go to Rate Setup to view the Base Premium and Plan Expense.
To view the coverage tier rate factor:
Navigate to System Management > System Benefits > PEO Benefits > System Benefit Setup.
Click the Coverage Tiers tab to view the Coverage Tier Rate Factor.
To view the network location rate factor:
Navigate to System Management > System Benefits > PEO Benefits > System Benefit Setup.
Click the Network Groups tab.
Click Edit.
Click the Locations tab to view the Network Location Rate Factor.
To view premium adjustments:
Navigate to System Management > System Benefits > PEO Benefits > System Benefit Plans.
Click Edit.
Click the Payment & Billing tab to view Premium Adjustments.

If a tab or option is not visible, confirm you are in the correct menu path shown above and that you have the appropriate access.
Note: If values appear incorrect or fields are missing after transition, verify the Go to Rate Setup and Coverage Tiers entries for the plan.

FAQs
When will calculated fixed rates be available?
Calculated Fixed Rates are being introduced in 2025. Once you transition to the new benefits functionality, Stored Fixed Rates will no longer be available.
What does stored fixed rates show?
Stored Fixed Rates show the Monthly Premium and the Rate Factor on the Rates tab under System Benefit Plans.
What does calculated fixed rates show?
Calculated Fixed Rates use multiple components: Base Premium, Plan Expense, Coverage Tier Rate Factor, Network Location Rate Factor, and Premium Adjustments. Each component is available in the locations listed above.
Where can I view premium adjustments?
Premium adjustments are visible by editing a plan under System Benefit Plans, then selecting the Payment & Billing tab.
